Troy is the second instalment in the Total War Saga series and is set in the Bronze Age during the Trojan war.
End Level Boss were commissioned to compose and produce a bespoke music score for the announce trailer that would capture the drama and epic sense of scale as the armies of Rhesus and Memnon clash in battle.
ELB also looked after the audio-post production; providing sound design, mixing and mastering of the final deliverables.
Summary
More Detail
After an initial briefing call with Creative Assembly we created and presented several music demos to an early edit of the trailer.
From here a single route was chosen and developed over a series of several feedback meetings. As the edit developed the music was further finessed and crafted to the final master.
In parallel to the creation of the music, the sound effects were developed to add a richness and impact to the on-screen action.
Similarly, as with the music, there was a dialogue between the team at ELB and the client ensuring that the sound hit the mark and elevated the production.

The Mission for this project was clear from the outset, with keywords from the brief being 'epic', 'cinematic' and 'build, build BUILD!!!'.
